I cannot explain how much I love this store. It's absolutley rammed to the rafters with stock, and if they don't have it the friendly man will dissappear into the probably just as ramshackle store room and reappear with exactly what you need, no matter how specific it is. There a tags on items with beautiful handwritten descriptions and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even if I don't need anything I always make a point of visiting here whenever I visit Market Harborough and buying something. A rare gem.

Having travelled from New Mill in Yorkshire to Market Harborough on a visit to my sister, a visit to Frank’s emporium was a must. Thoroughly recommend this shopping experience as this gentleman and his shop are so amazing. Difficult to imagine any kitchen gadget that can’t be found there.

Probably my favourite shop in Market Harborough. It rivals the internet for variety of products and prices too. A total joy to visit and the main ingredient to my success as a jam and chutney maker. Wonderful customer service.

An Aladdin's Cave of home & kitchenware packed into a small shop. Wonderful personal service too. Pop in for a browse, you're bound to come away with something you've been looking for, or discover a kitchen gadget/utensil that you didn't realise you couldn't live without! :

If you can’t think where to get that oddity, or replace an obscure item - Gilbert’s should be your first call!  A veritable treasure trove of branded and unbranded kitchen and homeware at great prices.  Mr Gilbert has often disappeared for ten minutes to look for a selection of items that might match what I need!  Nowhere will you find customer service as attentive as here.  The unsung hero of the High Street.

The shop is packed with bargains for the home/kitchen. Some really good products Stellar, LeCruiset etc at a fraction of on-line prices. If you can't see what you're after, it is probably in the back room! The shop keeper is extremely polite and helpfull.

Mr Gilbert has such great expertise about his products, and can offer fantastic advice on which of the many products on offer are most suitable. What a shop!

This man has so much knowledge of his stock and very happy to advise.  Great shop
