Absolutely a really good pub! Really friendly people, a great choice of quality beer and more importantly for me gins! Some really good premium gin at prices that are far better than any other pub in the area! Lovely freshly made cobs, and from what I heard from the regulars the food is very good indeed too, Sunday lunch at £7.95, tremendous value, we will definitely be back

Great beer at good prices. Started a motorbike meet on a Thursday evening, nice mix of bikes from 125s to a V8 monster when I was there! Great pizzas also. Great for a nice ride out on a summers eveningService: 5/5

A bastion of traditional English pub: flag stone floors, low lighting, carpeted dining area. Sunday lunch looked tasty. Lovely staff; I am reliably informed the Bathams is kept very well not a beer drinker myself. A very "local" pub.
Proper old fashioned local with excellent food at reasonable prices.
Fantastic waitress and welcome. Good a bit generic.... It's a chain, albeit a good one. Prawn cocktail had by one of our group was flavourless, crudités were dry but other aspects were great, pudding for example. A few tweaks, things less overcooked, and it would be really good!
