Absolutely great stay, room was lovely, very spacious and clean. Great shower in good size bathroom. Very dog friendly, in the bar, restaurant and room. Location wise, perfect, right in the centre of town, every walkable, great private car park. Very friendly staff! Great beers on tap. Meal deal for dinner was £16 for a main which included a small wine or a beer and the breakfast, which was included, was fantastic - a full english breakfast, or you could make-your-own option too. Nothing to fault - would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and fantastic value for money.
We decided to go to The Fox as a last minute booking.nThey managed to book us in with our little dog.nLiz was brilliant and knew her stuff and nothing was too much trouble.nThe meal deal was nothing like McDonald's!nIt was whatever drink you wanted with your homemade meal that was very filling.nAll in all a great place with great food.
I stayed here for one night and also dined here, the stay was great with the staff being very friendly and helpful. The food was decent amazing chips and the breakfast of good quality. The rooms were spotless and had everything you need so overall really satisfied with my stay and highly recommend.
Best food I have ever had in a pub. Exquisite. Lovely attentive staff. I will go again in a flash.
Lovely pub with friendly staff.. We stopped in on a hike over Wenlock Edge. The steak and ale pie was great. The hpa and npa beers were good too.
