We visited The Fox for Sunday lunch. Service was efficient and young staff very pleasant. The menu had plenty of options, including children's choices, and was very reasonably priced. Our food was served promptly and very tasty. All in all; it was very good value. Just one minor observation; the Yorkshire puddings were slightly over cooked!
Took some finding but a lovely village pub. Menu ok and we ordered chicken and ribs which was enjoyable. Ribs could have had more sauce but other than that great. Parking not great as clients had parked in 2 spaces each so had to move out on the road although not far and safe. Lots of foxy memorabilia which added to the place Would call again
A very quaint warm pub, with very nice service, twice visited as we camped close by. Doggy friendly in parts of the pub which was excellent. The first time we had fish and chips which were absolutely fine. Thus why we returned as we were 5 minutes away and was pouring! We had soup and bacon wrapped sausage. The soup was definitely from a can. The sausage sadly, was inedible. Terrible. Absolutely disgusting. Sadly the chicken curry was also very unenjoyable that we had ordered after. Come for a drink and a warm welcome from its staff, don’t come for food.
We went here for a family meal after recommendations and so glad we did. We had really nice food, a good choice and large portions, we had starters, main meal and dessert, we enjoyed all of it. The choices made a refreshing change, starters had spring rolls with mango chutney, main had vegetable quiche and desert raspberry frangipane. The lady serving was really friendly.
A nice public house. The menu was normal/basic food but what was looking for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking area is small and not helped by patrons taking up 2 spaces.
Great on the outside, cosy on the inside Unfortunately, what we choose to eat was disappointing. The veg that was served didn't look appertising, was sadly tasteless. The presentation didn't look great either. However, the staff were all friendly, approachable. This place is still worth a visit, as sometimes we can choose the wrong thing on the menu Which doesn't mean all the food is the same.
Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your food in. Beer battered fish and chips is my absolutely favourite at this venue. Definitely visit if you can.
Extensive pub restaurant over several dinning areas. Very accommodating even with our party of 8 increasing to 18 leading the day before the reservation.Service: 5/5
