Outstanding!!nnBeen to this lovely pub a few times, always wanted to leave a review!!nnThe young lady serving us couldn’t be more helpful, the food was excellent and at a reasonably price.nnThe food was a generous portion… and very tasty, I even finished my partners meal - it was so nice.nnDog friendly, treats on offer at the bar and a good selection of treats you can buy. I could see that lots of locals attending with their dogs!! Pub had a great and relaxed atmosphere!nnSeating at the front of pub and rear garden, all spacious and very well laid out! Even have another room at the back if you want privacy.nnBy far the most accommodating pub for dogs in Devizes, worth walking your dog in the surrounding area like Drew’s pond with this pub as a stop off.nnHad the Burger and Tagine, with two drinks!!nVery tasty!!nnPlenty of parking!nnA must visit if in town!!nnWill be a returning customer! Excellent beer, attentive service but the food is average. The accompanying salad on the starter was fresh and colourful but the beer battered fish main was quite dissapointing. It said buttered peas on the menu...maybe chef had run out of butter that day?
We had a group of 22 who were not impressed by the poor organisation for disable members getting into the conference hall. There was only one lady serving in the pub and waiting at table. We all felt sorry for the way she was treated and the amount of work she had to do. The food was excellent but the whole experience spoiled by poor organisation. My final comment is that if you are in a small party everything should be fine.
Fantastic little find. Very friendly staff in a comfortable little pub. Had a great Sunday lunch with family and even our doggy got a roast. Great beer, great find.
