Nice pub in South cave. Must have had a recent refit. Food was good, service not so. Good selection of beer.. More friendly next time may get you a 5 next time.

Good food and drinks modern English pub style, very nice personnel with good experience in food and beers. I would recommend a visit when in the area. 4,5 stars in the pub scale.

Great pub serving good food although not a huge choice - which is maybe not a bad thing so they can concentrate on quality. Prices are a bit on the high side for a village pup but as they seem to have no competition I can understand this. Clearly very popular. We were there lunch time on Tues. 2nd Jan 2018 and nearly all the tables were occupied. Recommended.

Perfect - I had the fish n chips which I would rate as possibly the best I have ever had!
My wife had lasagne which she tells me was delicious!
I would recommend the Fox n Coney highly!

A cold winter's day, warming fire, good pint of ale, good food. Can't be beaten.
Called in for lunch, sat by the fire. I had home made fish finger sandwich with the freshest white crusty bread. My wife had garlic mushrooms on toasted sourdough. Both excellent. Really good ale. Memorable!
