Fantastic theatre we visited for the last night of the summer panto Sleeping Beauty the cast were amazing and really comical, our 2 sons were in hysterics they couldn't stop laughing, we took our own snacks and drinks in as we were on a budget with our holiday being a week later, we would definitely visit again.
I took my 4yr old Goddaughter to see Sleeping Beauty last week. The cast didn’t fail to thoroughly entertain both young and old… I proper belly laughed. Can’t wait for Christmas Eve with the whole family to see Snow White and The Seven Dwarves
I would have preferred to give it zero stars for it's disabled unfriendly attitude to my mother yesterday 5th October 2024 who was in a wheelchair with many health conditions, plus curvature of the spine and two replacement hips. She had arrived to watch her grandchildren in a show. It was requested that one of the chairs could be moved to make room for her wheelchair and she was flatly refused and told the chair could not be moved. She was offered an area where she couldn't really view the stage if she was to use the wheelchair, however the audience could view her apparently. So she sat in your pink uncomfortable chairs. This morning she couldn't get out of bed and was in agony. She also had to sit through the whole ordeal in pain in the very uncomfortable pink seats. Are there no disabled rights in your theatre?
We went to see the show, Queenz, a drag tribute act that included songs by Cher, Whitney Houston, Cyndi Lauper, Brittany Spears etc. A great night out with fantastic audience participation of singing, cheering, dancing etc. Queenz are truly a fabulous act to see. Great singing, comedy, cabaret that also brings in inclusion of LGBTQ+, supporters and disabled communities together as one fantastic audience. The Forum Theatre staff were friendly, supportive and helpful especially for disabled people. Queenz are definitely a show you should see!
My family and I went to see our granddaughter perform in Northern Kids' production of Oliver! The Forum was the perfect venue, and a great time was had by all. Beautiful theatre!
