The Forum is a longstanding and very popular site to visit, can't complain about the selection of shops, cleanliness or the warm and friendly area HOWEVER, it has been or is desperately so clear that the private owners over the years have completely neglected the overall structure of the building inside and out. It is very leaky, mouldy, tiles falling down and tired looking, the leaking areas are now going into people's shops this has happened many times in the past, causing them issuesnnIt was originally open air without the glass roof and it never had any issues. It is abundantly clear it needs a complete overhaul back to the bare bones quickly but done properly and to a high standard. The facilities like the car park needs a serious look at aswell. You cannot buy a building and not do the proper maintenance for the likes of weather proofing or repairs. Unfortunately, like the rest of the shopping centres they have just been left without attention and when left in this state this neglect brings the area down. The good folk of Wallsend deserve a shopping centre refurbished with the care it deserves. I suggest the new owners really think carefully about how to properly maintain and refurbish The Forum as this has been really disheartening for many years.
The shops that are there are friendly staffed, full of stock and pleasure to visit. Not many shops though. The public toilets could do with a bit more upkeep but surprisingly their hand dryer is really good, I was unexpectedly surprised by this.nThe staff at Greggs is super friendly too.

Great place to visit lots of little shops and places to get food,Greegs and other places to get a cuppa and a great shop i always visit is Diamante heaven lots of stuff like Hats and bags,earrings etc..
