Super cosy and spacious room, kind service and good breakfast. The people here were really helpful in getting us a taxi and making sure we’d get back safe. Really recommend for families with young children. The food at the pub was also really nice, especially the Thai curry and soup! Definitely will visit again!
Great value accommodation in a quiet part of Ealing but only a 10min walk from a tube station. The Thai food was delicious. The £7.50 two course lunch special was great value. The bedroom for 4 was a good size and very clean and tidy, the included cooked breakfast was ideal. Recommended
A much-beloved local - very popular and often used as a TV location owing to its very traditional decor. Also serves very good Thai food and Sunday lunches. Why not five stars? It can be a bit cliquey - if a regular is at the bar, it can take a while for you to be noticed.
Lovely pub with a great garden for the warmer months, and the garden has outdoor marquees and heaters for winter. Lovely food, Thai menu, great selection of pub drinks. Inside, there are three distinct drinking areas and a separate dining area. Outside, there are lots of tables so great for outside dining on warm days or when the heaters are on! I have seen summer bbqs, and there is usually a beer festival mid year! They also have svmcreens for sports. Always love popping in here, and the staff are all very hospitable! Thanks for your services team, Foresters!!! 5/5 for an all-around experience!
Bar staff are amazing, food was alright. Received the worst customer service of my life from the kitchen/waiting staff. They got my order wrong and made me pay for the item they brought to the table. Claimed it was a misunderstanding but I fail to understand why I should have to pay for their misunderstanding. Absolutely shocked at the way the waitress argued back with us and told us that she wasn't going to pay for it so we were going to have to. Terrible service, ruined the whole experience.
First time Sunday Roast ever in the UK. The food was soooo good! Love the lamb nice recommendation by lovely staff I have no idea of what the stuffing was but I really love the texture and flavour. All the sides were tasty and I definitely love the honey roasted sweet potato!! The Sunday Carvery with beer are absolutely the best combination of a real good Sunday! Highly recommended and next time remember to make a reservation.
Well kept local ales and amazing Thai food. The pub has many heritage features and well worth a look. Oct 2022. Saturday night but no problem just turning up for a meal. The beer is still fab.
I think this was a great pub. It’s massive and has a good atmosphere to it. Friendly staff and great garden too and the booze is decent valueService: 5/5
Just always feels a bit down on itself. Thai food is decent, and I think it’s going through some overdue re-decorations about now too. Will be interesting to see how it works out.
One of the most welcoming pubs in London great for families and chilling with friends - great beer garden Food & drinks: One of the best Sunday roasts
