We were quickly greeted at the door and promptly seated by a friendly server. Our meals were top notch, the atmosphere was simple and in keeping with the heritage of the building. Salad was a bit thin on ingredients but satisfying. The chicken avocado bacon sandwich hit the spot. No alcohol and no dessert, the meal for 2 cost 26 pounds. I would recommend this place.
A wonderful breakfast with the best locally sourced ingredients. A must go place for an enjoyable taste of excellent food. We had a Cornish Breakfast with the delicious bacon & a Duck egg Florentine with spinach and mushrooms . A talented professional chef and all at the price you would pay for the ordinary. Can’t wait to go back to try the evening meal. Best wine list I have seen for many years.
Food was amazing here! Came on a family holiday to Bodmin booked this place to eat, the food didn’t let us down at all, it tasted great, food portions were a great size and above all the staff were really friendly and welcoming! Would love to come again when I go back to Bodmin! There is great parking nearby which was free of charge and the little town was a great place to walk around after the meal.
Wonderful food, fantastic service. Everything was lovely. There was a great atmosphere, the music was placed perfectly so it wasn't too loud but offered a lovely ambience. We had prawns/croquettes, steak which was cooked perfectly with yummy vegetables and a cheeseboard to share. Some of the cheese we didn't enjoy but that's just our personal taste.
One of my most favourite restaurants ever!!!!! Sunday Roast was absolutely stunning!!!!!! Followed by orange posset which was beautiful. My husband had sticky toffee pudding which was also amazing. Hot! Full of flavour! Just stunning! If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!
This place is nice and fancy. We ordered 3 chicken roasts at a cost of £16 each. The food was very nice, the vegetables were seasoned to perfection and the gravy was nice. Could of done with more meat though. Because our chickens were just pretty much legs. Having the front door constantly open made it chilly for us as well. I eat my meal with my coat on.
I booked in for a meal as a treat to myself and wasn’t disappointed. Delicious food and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating for my gluten free needs also.
Stopped on a whim whilst looking for a bite to eat - what a gem. Friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. Nice vibe in the courtyard with quiet music. Price is reasonable - £12 for tuna sandwich with salad + eggs & avocado on toast. Also highly recommend the Cornish Orchards lemonade Would visit again Free WiFi available.
Incredible service from the moment you arrive. Staff are polite and attentive. Excellent wine list and atmosphere. The food was superb. The chef has created a wonderful menu of perfectly selected items executed with the utmost skill. Bravo to all involved with running such an excellent restaurant.Food: 5/5
This place has it all Great food, wonderful atmosphere and decor. Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the best culinary experiences and thoroughly recommended. Prices very reasonable for the quality of the the food, perfect seasoning, beautiful layers of flavour and texture. Thank you all at florys for a flawless evening. We will be visiting often.
