24 hours in London and I’ve been here twice. Great mocha and the generous portion of butter with the English muffin won my heart. The service was super friendly and gracious. Wish I was here longer so I could visit a few more times.
The iced coffee without sugar was sooo delicious! Very friendly staff. Nice to sit outside on a sunny day.
My wife and I were visiting London from the states and I really wanted her to try scones with clotted cream and jam. We had a really hard time finding a place that had them without being part of high tea which can be expensive. We found this place by accident while in CT and it was amazing. I think it was like 4 quid for an amazing homemade scone. Great espresso as well. Thanks!
The service was very polite and friendly — they even gave us an extra portion of jam for free! Their brownie and scones are absolutely delicious. Also they play good music there, if not a bit loud. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in town!
It was our mistake to try their scones as our first scones in London. Since then I've been on a hunt for a scone that could be as good as theirs, having scones at different recommended places and high teas up to twice a day for a week. No luck. Their scones are indeed the best scones in London and possibly in the world!
- Soup was average in flavour and mean in portion 1/3 of a bowl. - 'Strata' was a bake. We asked what was in it and what was stated was all vegetarian. My veggie husband ordered it and bit into a long strip of undercooked bacon. They said he could have something else, but did not remove the charge for the 'Strata'. Unbelievable! -The Raspberry Slice was delicious. - The Pecan Pastry was, I expect, good at some stage, but was cold and stale when delivered to me. - Coffee was great.
Bit of a weird vibe playing very loud 80s music. The sandwich cost £5 but was super small and the bread was weirdly sweet? Tasted like top had been sprinkled with sugar. Nice beer though!
I work in Camden Market and have taken home a few of there loaves of bread which I think are really nice. I've also tied there sausage rolls... Delicious!...More to try soon.
Amazing spot for breads, coffee and sweets.
Great coffee and delicious pastries. Cannot recommend it enough!
