Went mid week so it's was quiet naturally, good selection of drinks and menu looked OK as well although didn't eat. Nice old building and would go back there.Service: 4/5
Pleasant, friendly staff, every time I've been - I do a local walk then stop for lunch and have never been disappointed. A proper old pub with character.Food: 5/5
Great local and historical pub. Good reasonably priced food available with the Sunday lunch especially well recommended. Wide selection of beers and wines available at a reasonable price. There is a huge beer garden to the rear with plenty of facilities to keep the kids occupied!
Food has improved from the last owner but personally for me there's not alot on the menu. Outside area where the sheds are isn't good, kids always down there. Walls falling down in garden, kids climbing frame is well outdated and needs work. Always too many kids in thereunder the place is rife with drugs, so obvious it's shocking. Used to be a family pub now its just get anyone in to sell beer. A place I wil be avoiding till it turns around.
Great place to go and eat. Great location and also great views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Had a great meal well recommend to everyone.

Unfortunately the Ossest Blonde was poor had to take it back, which is unusual for Ossett.
Lovely place have a drink.. climbing frame and swings ect also
