We decided to hold our wedding reception at the Fleece because as a local pub, the staff are extremely lovely, the food is always great and the drinks are various and well priced. They prepared a buffet for us which fed 60 guests, catering for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores- everybody agreed the food was ample and delicious! When organising the evening, nicola was so accommodating and tailored everything to our needs. The whole thing was marvellous and stress-free, exactly what we needed on our wedding day. Thanks so much to all at the Fleece, you're all stars!

Great atmosphere and the food is great, plenty of choice in the beer, real ale and lager selections. Large outside beer garden that runs down to the river, great in the summer. Dogs welcome too, darts, dominoes and pool available as well. Great place to relax with a beer near the open fire. Come and enjoy a drink the staff are very homely.

It was cold outside, windy and raining. We sat by the roaring log fire. We had nice drinks a 2 course meal. All very pleasant. Will be going again.

Can't fault the service, food and beer and friendly atmosphere! Really good value and great children's menu.
