This week’s visit was to The Fish Bank, Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. Due to recent press releases and being in the last 40 of the fish and chip shop awards. I requested a lightly battered fish with chips and a normal fish on its own. Well they cant determine the difference so no point requesting lightly battered, they were both exactly the same! Chips really undercooked. The fish was very greasy and evidently wasn’t drained at all. Batter was extremely soggy and wet. The peas and curry were very nice. One of the girls serving needs to curb the attitude with customers too! So disappointed with tonight’s chippy tea I must say.

Just had the lunch special Fish,chips, sausage and choice of sauce £6.nReally enjoyed it,  was nicely cooked and tasty.nSat in the garden at the back.nMy main reason for this review is because of the staff. So pleasant, polite and helpful.nWas nice to walk in to a shop and staff are smiling.

Absolutely delicious, been ages since I visited a chippie and this did not disappoint.

Been wanting to try this place a while but I live 10 miles away.nYesterday I drove home making a pit stop here from the seaside.nExcellent service and great tasting fish.nWould say prices are on the cheaper side to what I'm used to paying which is a bonus.nnThumbs up thank you
