The fireplace company has been established for over 20 years supplying and installing fireplaces across Sussex, Kent and Surrey and we are approved stockists for Chesneys of London supplying Stone and marble fireplaces, stoves, gas fires and electric fires with a large range on display in our showroom where we can discuss what your requirements are and arrange a free survey.
We are also suppliers of Spartherm Contemporary wood burning stoves and have a range of these on display.
Our installers are Hetas and Gas safe registered and we can a complete installation service including flues.
We now also sell and stock Big Green Egg BBQs Ofyr fire pits and Alfa Pizza wood fired ovens.

The service is gold standard here. Staff are attentive and engaged and explain everything. We have decided to buy our stove from then. So far really good.

Very knowledgeable sales team helped explain all the options and pros & cons of each burner. Excellent installation from Lee, Paul and John, even dealing with an unexpected breezeblock jammed in the chimney. Very neat and tidy work and friendly all round!

5 stars! I entered The Fireplace Company with little to no knowledge of wood burners and left the font of knowledge. I met Ben and explained I was struggling with my wood burner at home not their product. Ben took the time to show me the correct way to build a fire, what product to use alongside the wood burner, and how to maintain my burner - he took the time to explain all in such detail despite knowing there was no large log burner sale at the end of the conversation. Ben was patient, knowledgable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. exceptional service and lovely shop!

Wow, what a great experience. Thank you so much Nic, Ben, Phil and team. Plus Wayne the fab plasterer, who did a fabulous job replastering our room, plus the  guys who removed the old woodburner, bricked up one side, open the other side a bit more and installed the new woodburner. Fantastic service. Thank you. And yes, we also had a lesson in how to lay the fire, actually 2 lessons, one from Ben and one from the blokes who installed the chesney woodburner. Thank you so much.

Great company to do business with. The whole experience was first class. We had a browse in the showroom and got unbiased, friendly advice on the products. Most importantly it was relaxing and unhurried. The installation of our wood burner was clean, efficient and the guys were professional with a good sense of humour and eye to detail. A perfect combination that lead to a really good experience.

We recently had a Chesney log burning stove installed in our lounge to replace the existing open fire. We purchased the stove from the Fireplace Company and they undertook the installation, including alterations to and plastering the existing brick chimney breast. We are very happy with the advice we received from them in choosing the stove and planning the work and cannot speak too highly of the service we received from them. All staff were friendly and considerate, and looked after our furniture etc by ensuring they were  covered before and during the work. The standard of work and the quality of the finished job is excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend the company.

We recently moved into a new property in Crowborough and had a Chesney fire surround installed in our lounge. We purchased the surround from the Fireplace Company and they also undertook the installation, including a new hearth. The advice & service that was provided by them throughout the process was very professional and the work was carried out to an extremely high standard.  The end result was fantastic and our lounge has been transformed. We also liked the personal touch that was provided by the Fireplace Company which made them very easy to deal with and put us at totally at ease. We are very very satisfied customers and would highly recommend the Fireplace Company.......

We cannot praise Nic and his team at the Fireplace Company in crowborough enough. From the very start when We visited the showroom to choose our new fireplace to the installation the Whole process was excellent. The two gentlemen Tom and Russ who fitted the fire were so friendly, courteous,and professional and throughout the fitting kept everything clean and tidy, the only thing we had to do was ensure they had a tasty mug of tea and coffee. We cannot recommend this company enough so if you are thinking of having a new fireplace then definitely have a visit to Nic and his team at crowborough, also the soft furnishings are excellent as well. The Fireplace Company was recommended to me so at first I phoned and spoke to Ben who couldn't have been more helpful. Even though we didn't live nearby we drove to the very impressive store to meet with Ben and go through our options. He spent so much time with us and we were stuck on two options.  Phil came out to measure up and again he couldn't have been more helpful. We decided on a stove and could not be happier. We was so impressed with the installation and we absolutely love our wood burning stove. If only all places gave such amazing customer care. Thank you so much.

I had a stove supplied and fitted by Phil and the team. Really pleased with the service I received and the quality of the product is first class.  The new show room looks fantastic, really helpful to actually see the stoves working along with all the different surrounds. Cant wait until winter now!
