Just spent 3 nights at the Feathers in Ludlow, a lovely hotel in a fantastic old building, centrally located for exploring Ludlow. We ate in the hotel on each evening and the food was very good. We found the service from reception to the Resturant and  bar equally very good. We look forward to returning sometime to explore what’s around Ludlow, as the weather on our last day scuppered that plan

Beautiful historic building with a great location in the center of town.  We enjoyed our stay there although the room was only heated for a few hours in the morning and evening.  Otherwise it could get quit chilly in the room.  We had the afternoon tea and it was very disappointing.   For example, we were not given a choice of tea, and it was not loose leaf; it was made using teabags.  The sandwiches were not particularly tasty.

A beautiful town with over 500 listed buildings - a lovely sight at each corner you turn.  The Feathers is an historic hotel well worth visiting.  We enjoyed a delicious lunch and coffee in a really quiet part of the hotel, which was very enjoyable.  Great friendly service and excellent toilets add to the experience. We were too late to book for Sunday lunch so get in early!

I had a fantastic stay at The Feathers! 5 nights in total. Friendly staff, lovely old building but with modern and tastefully decorated rooms. I had a great power shower  in my room too! Breakfast was lovely and certainly worth it, £12 for guests. All in all, I would definitely recommend  and I will return

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a good overall experience. It is a short, albeit uphill, walk from the train station and very close to all the local attractions. The hotel is beautiful both inside and outside, and it has all the critical amenities available. Even though my room was a little small, it didn't feel stuffy at all. The only concern is that potentially, due to the age of the building, the floorboards creak audibly, and the thin walls mean it gets noisy at times. I didn't stay for lunch or dinner but got breakfast at the hotel, which was decent.
