This is a great pub with great atmosphere and good for families with children. There are some bad reviews from when the previous owners were there, but Stacy and Dave took over two years ago and have transformed the place. Really friendly, and the other staff too and they all work really hard. We had a christening party there a couple years ago as well and they really went the extra mile. Also had my 40th there in Jan and the same effort was made. Felt I needed to leave this review and share the great experiences we have had there!

Lovely pub serving very nice food at good prices. I was there with a group of friends recently after a long ride and we were made to feel very welcome and had a great meal. Will definitely be coming back.

I choose this pub because of the great reviews I read online and I wasn't disappointed. I went with a couple of friends for lunch. I didn't get the female member of staffs name (wears glasses), but we were a little taken back on how she spoke to us a few times at the beginning of our visit, she came across a bit abrupt. But we didn't let is spoil our fun and just shook it off. Service was fast and there were lots of fun games on and around the dining room. Chairs are uncomfortable but pillows are scattered around so I took advantage of that. Food was timely, fresh and delicious. Around £20-£25 for 3 courses and a drink on average not bad at all. I would come back again and I would recommend this establishment. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

The staff at the Farmers Boy are friendly and welcoming, which contributes to a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is very good and freshly cooked. If you've got kids with you they'll love the selection of board games in the dining area.

Lovely little pub, went one evening when they had ukelele night. Was quite nostalgic. Great food too and very friendly land lord and land lady
