Good value hotel, well placed in the town. Quite a small car park but they reimburse cost of P&D next door.nAll of the staff and there are plenty of them were clearly well trained and very attentive at all times. Check in staff were very welcoming and efficient and helped with our luggage.nWe dined in the hotel both nights and had an enjoyable meal each time.nThe menu wasn't that extensive, but food good. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order not the usual buffet bun fight.nRoom was very comfortable with all usual features. Very comfortable bed with loads of pillows. Shower very good indeed.nAltogether a very good stay.

Spent 2 nights at the falcon hotel a couple of weeks ago, what a great find. Excellent hotel, lovely room, very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were all friendly and attentive.  It was my birthday and they really went the extra mile.  We will go back and we highly recommend

Amazing Sunday Roast here today, what really made it though was how attentive and knowledgeable the staff were. From wines served to showing us around the hotel. We will definitely be returning 5*

We booked a table for 4 for lunch. Parking was a big problem.nThe service was very friendly, but that was where the positive experience ended.nWe chose from the main menu, which was small. The starters were OK, but the main courses were poor quality and expensive.nThe salmon fillet was the smallest I have ever been served, overcooked and dry. But what really ruined the food was the amount of salt used. This was for all the choices. The vegetables served with the main courses were a pile of peas and a tiny amount of wilted spinach. When we asked for more vegetables, a small dish with overcooked, unappetising broccoli, sprouts and we think, parsnips arrived.nWhen the limited dessert menu was brought, the 2 different desserts we ordered, were unavailable.nOverall, a restaurant we will not visit again.

We stayed 4 nights for our son's wedding. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The food was exceptional. The rooms are comfy and the entire day went smoothly. A great venue for a wedding.
