It’s one of those places where you choose your tree. If you are a bit more adventurous, then venture into the adjacent woodland and enjoy absolute quiet and wild. Follow the trail and hiking paths but watch out for mountain bikers.
Beautiful walk along the fairy glen. You can make the walk as long or as short as you want.
Really pretty walk along the river bank. Starting from Kilbroney park entrance at Rostrevor town , the walk follows the river for about 1k with an option of turning away from the river up through the meadows with views over Carlingford Lough. Some lovely photo opportunities along the river and a couple of areas to get down to the water's edge.... perfect for kids wanting to throw a few stones into the water supervised.
Such a beautiful place to go for a walk!
