I have recently celebrated a birthday at Baseri Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to every detail with care and professionalism. The service was impeccable and the staff ensured that everything was perfect throughout the evening. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. Whether it was the starters, main courses, or desserts, each plate exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a wonderful variety, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Baseri Restaurant for any special occasion or just a delightful night out. It is our favourite restaurant in Newark!

went for a quick evening stop after a great recommendation, honestly can’t believe I haven’t found this gem sooner. The staff helped a lot with navigating the menu. We went for Chefs recommendations and I have to say, one of the finest Nepali/Indian cuisines out there. Definitely going to be a regular at this placeFood: 5/5

The food was absolutely amazing, easily the best Nepalese/Indian food I have tasted in years. The staff were beyond helpful, polite and willing to go an extra mile with their recommendations. The decor was modern and bright and the whole establishment was exceptionally clean and tidy. After our meal the head chief came over to speak to us and was kind and informative. I can not recommend Baseri enough. It's excellent reputation is well deserved.  Vegetarian options: Superb verity of vegetarian dishes.

This is such a lovely restaurant. The service is amazing, the food is authentically Nepalese-Indian at reasonable prices. Our mains were Machha Malekhu marinated fish in mustard - chef's grandma's recipe, and Jalfrezi king prawns. I requested the Machha Malekhu to be of medium heat/spiciness, so it suited me just fine. The ambience is posh yet inviting. I look forward to dine there again.  Parking: Street parking available.

Having celebrated with the family all 14 of us for my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary 60 yrsthe whole evening was excellent. Staff were attentive food was excellent and service was impeccable. Best Indian food I’ve had in the area. Fresh, aromatic and delicious. They didn’t just take our order, the manager discussed what we like and recommend dishes. He even created one especially for us. He also said we were ordering too much which was very honest I wanted to take some home!. And the food was excellent. So all in all a very high quality experience.

We visited on Sunday 14th January to try their special Nepalese Street Food menu. Lovely evening out and amazing food. We'll definitely visit again   Update 21.03.24 When we visited the restaurant in January it was called "The Everest Inn". Since our visit it has been renamed "Baseri Nepalese and Indian Restaurant" not sure why and not sure if it's still the same owners.

The food is amazing, the knowledgeable staff really take care of you too and actually put the effort in to making everything perfect. Would fully recommendFood: 5/5
