One of the best chippies I know. We always stop off for fish and chips at The Border Cod, on our way to Hawick.

A good fish and chip shop. Nice thick and sticky mushy peas.

The guy behind the counter  was wearing a really dirty white coat (thought he was a mechanic). Had to wait for fish but when i got it home the fish was burned underneath  and chips were soft and greasy! The smell when opening the wrapper was like old chip oil or burnt!!!! wont be back.
