Exceptional fish and chips. Great Gluten free options which are fried in veg oil rather than beef dripping. Service is very good. Seating area is roomy. A relaxed atmosphere. Large car park with disabled parking and ramp. Went again last night. Cracking food and still as great as last time.
Excellent Gluten Free fish and chips that I have missed out on for the best part of 15 years. Good quality fish and potatoes cooked traditionally in Beef dripping. Delicious. Good service and nice set up with the option of drive-thru ordering or normal counter service or even a restaurant if you want to make an event of it. Good environmentally friendly packaging on the takeaway which could be even better if they could lose the polystyrene container for mushy peas etc. Looking forward to the Gluten Free sausage becoming available in Outwood as it is in Pudsey.
Always excellent fish.. . Always excellent chips. Love that it's a drive through. Really quick service. Never been in to eat but my friend Johnny says its huge portions and nice atmosphere. Highly recommendFood: 5/5
On 3 occasions ordered the lite bite meal deal with peas and a coke. When I got home the drink was not in the bag. Phoned up and could not get through. The next day finally got through but I could not pick up the drink and they would not let me collect on my next visit. Gone back to Tony's better service.
We used the Drive thru service. Very easy to use.. the staff were clearly spoken and took the order correctly first time.. we drove around to the second window to pay using the card facilities.. then drove to the third window to collect our piping hot fish and chips with salt and vinger applied as requested... The food was of high quality it wasn't oily so was perfect to eat in the car.. Thanks to all the staff for making our experience very satisfying we will definitely be returning Parking: Large parking area but we used the drive thru service Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair slope from the car park directly into the restaurant
Went for grandsons 5th birthday. Fab service from start to finish they even brought a cake slice and serviettes for the cake we brought with us and gave both kids good presents. Food arrived quickly, portions very good. Great for the whole family, would recommend Kid-friendliness: Just - great!!!
Very nice, I went through the drive through. Everyone in hair nets and very clean. Went to mc Donald's the week before and their meal deal for 2 adults and 2 children was much cheaper than mc Donald's so price is good, been here since it was the empire so around 15 years my go to chippyFood: 5/5
This place is not worth even one star rating. Quantity as well as quality issues. For Starters burnt rock hard tiny garlic mushrooms with hot water inside the batter/breadcrumbs 7 on one plate 9 on the other with a slither of lettuce and a piece of red onion skin. Main meal, Haddock and chips, yellowish colour strong smelling fish with rock hard burnt batter and a human hair burnt in to the batter. Anaemic looking dry chips that were powdery inside. Cold couldn't care less waitress said there was nothing she could do, we ended up paying £36.10 for burnt offerings and to cap it all saw a rat run across the car park as we were leaving. Never again will we go to any Wetherby Whaler.
Takeaway menu is a bit limited compared to other chippys Fish bites are bad value nearly no fish in them . On the 3 occasions iv been only once were chips hot and freshFood: 3/5
Got a fishcake it was horrible I think they forgot to put the potato in it and the fish was definitely not cod or haddock and it was well overcooked the fish inside was like rubber and dried out and the batter round the edges was rock hard .
