Lovely old building housing a rustic, authentic hotel, bar and restaurant. We went for an evening meal whilst on holiday and couldn't have been more impressed. The service was friendly and quick, the food was tasty with good sized portions even for our resident vegetarian and the atmosphere was laid back and care-free. Just a shame we didn't discover it sooner!nn10/10 on all fronts - would highly recommend.
OMG what can I say. My husband and I are staying a few days respite from the business in llanrwst in a barn conversion. We walked 1.5 miles into Llanrwst to here as recommended by our host.nnWe decided to have sandwiches, coleslaw & salad as we would have the walk trek back up.nnHospitality was absolutely fantastic, beer & wine reasonably priced and the sandwiches were to die for. Loved the salad dressing just had that magic touch where many other eateries forget or don’t offer.nnWe will return to beautiful not to try the other foods as the place had many people were eating off the hot food menu and commenting how beautiful it was.nnThanks ever so much and compliments to both bar & kitchen staff.
Recommended by a local, and it exceeded our expectations. Local ale was amazing, and I also had the best Steak and Guinness pie I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect.
Looked like an expensive restaurant from outside, so walked away. Everything else was closed nearby, so was forced to come back. And boy I thank god for bringing me back here. Had the most incredible butter chicken of my entire life. Tried beef and lamb curry as well which were also soooo goood. Price was reasonable. Beautiful and calm scenary if you sit outdoors. All the staff were very polite. I would love to go back there again, driving 2 hours from Manchester just to have this amazing dining experience one more time.
Menu looked good value. When we arrived, we found that Wednesday night was curry night with an all you can eat buffet. Choice of 8 curries, rice, roti, poppadoms and onion barjees. Even better value, and very tasty.nFull menu still available.nI'll be back next time I'm around!
