I could not recommend this place enough! The service from the 3 girls in there, I’m sorry I didn’t catch names, was just fantastic. We rang ahead while we were on the way to see if they had a table and the lady on the phone was so friendly and accommodating. It was the first day of the new menu and both dishes we ordered were honestly out of this world. I want to go back…. Tomorrow! I would give 6/5 starts if I could. Thank you so much!
If you're not sure whether to visit The Durham Ox, do it. They did a fabulous job providing amazing food for a group of 30 for our intimate wedding reception. The food was exceptionally presented on a grazing table and tasted amazing. Lauren and her team went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after from start to finish. We will certainly be returning for a meal soon; really great food!
Wow wow wow.nHad the pleasure of dining here today with my sister, as I had heard good things about the place. We were greeted and served by a lovely lady who I think was the manager. She was so friendly and made us feel instantly welcome and relaxed.nAll the staff were so kind and accommodating and it was like a breath of fresh air. The food was outstanding !! I had the lamb roast and my sister had the beef, the meat was cooked to perfection, everything hot and beautifully presented. What a wonderful experience it was, we loved it and can't wait to return.nKeep up the fantastic work guys, Dana & Rachel
Got to say me and the wife had an amazing meal, really really enjoyed it. My new best place. The staff where very friendly and accommodating. There is a council car park right next to pub which is free after 6. We'll definitely be going here again. Very soon!!!!.
6 of us went for a meal here on Saturday evening 13/4/24...menu was great, didn't know what to choose, and food was fantastic, fresh, hot and so delicious. Staff very friendly and service was great. Wish we lived closer, would definitely make this our local if we did!
