I wish the shower controls weren't so complicated, but otherwise this has been wonderful. Great food in the lounge, far better than one might expect, as good as any top end restaurant. The bar is very charming. Our room is very quiet, and the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in.

Just wow, fantastic accommodation, on seeing my room my jaw hit the floor, every inch of this property from it's gorgeous exterior to the bar, (and even the hall ways) excudes charm, quality, care and love. This place is a creation of passion by its owners and it shows. The staff I talked to were so friendly and genuinely cared about what they were doing, that makes such a difference. A genuinely amazing place to stay in Edinburgh. I don't think I'd ever want to stay anywhere else again.

Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed in my life - amazing room, bathtube in the living room with a great view, perfect service. We even had a whisky + cheese pairing at the bar that was mind-blowing.

My girlfriend of 4 years and I went to Edinburgh for our one year anniversary, and the stay at The Dunstane was amazing! They bumped us up to a better room, the staff were friendly and service-minded, the rooms were great, and breakfast was amazing! This is a fantastic gem which you simply must stay at in Edinburgh!
