My honest opinion is that the dukeries academy is at its worst. With the stricter uniform rules and every student has to have a natural hair colour. Also it is bad as the doors lock so you cant get in or out the corridors without a teacher. It is like a prison.

As a mum to Fiona and Kim i think this school is going downhill fast.they are worrying to much about small insignificient things. Changing school lesson times,what does that mean more homework as they dont get enough work done now. Do they actually get proper teachers then ????

The school is ok, but definetly at its worst.The school is worrying too much about small, petty things (such as SOCKS!!) and not of things that cause disruption such as false fire alarms! Changing lesson times, means more homework... we barely get enough time as it is! Getting more strict on uniform and they tell us to be 'unique'! They've given lower years the opportunity to get better GCSE options, and not to the current people. The bullying tolerancy is absouletly appauling and soo is everything else with the Dukeries. Not the best school to send your kids to, turning into a new and improved prison

I, as a student, would not recommend this school. Reason? The tolerance of bullying is of poor quality as the bullies always get away with everything! I have been bullied ever since I started this school by many different individuals and they have always got away with it! It even gets to a point where my friends are getting told off for being an eye witness! Next time, read my hand written report properly and with understanding! Unbelievable!
