Great food, welcoming staff and comfortable environment! First time visit. I took the family for Mother’s Day meal. We had the chicken pie, the Lamb, roast chicken and fish. All dishes were great. Very tasty! This was followed by desserts. Choc hazelnut tart, Spanish cheesecake and churros! Also very yummy compliments to the chefs! Staff were great! Definitely a place to revisit.
Went down yesterday for a few pints and a roast dinner after rambling around West London all day.. It was decent.. it was a little overran when we first walked in… but having worked in pubs for a long time previously I know that feeling all too well on a Sunday… but these guys dealt with it well.. service was still good.. beer was still cold and the food was still very tasty and hot.. cap dothed!! Really good feel to this place, the sort of boozer you’d like to call your local and the sort I can imagine being great over Xmas.. feels homely if that makes sense!!
Excellent food and good range of drinks. Very nice garden. The service was a bit slow on our visit, it seems like they were under staffed. The calamari was delicious as was the tempura pork belly. The hake main course was superb and the fish & chips was pretty good. Moderate prices but overall a good meal and will come back to try the famous Sunday roast.
Went for lunch here last week and we really enjoyed it. The girl running the lunch service was really helpful and took great care of us. The food standards here are still very high. It had been a few years for us and we were so happy to be back. Lovely tapas, really authentic and the beers and wines were all top as well. Love this pub .
We had a fun long leisurely lunch on Saturday with old friends to celebrate my wife’s 50th. We chose from an extensive menu of tapas and delicious mains. The food was great and the tapas was exceptional, so the mains weren’t really needed. Swift service was accompanied by a good selection of beers, gins and wines. Good job guys!
Amazing Sunday lunch, I had the vegan Wellington and as a non vegan I can tell you it was DELICIOUS! So juicy, the pastry tasted buttery although obviously it wasn't and the gravy was delish! We had the passion fruit and white chocolate parfait which is basically a cheesecake also very yummy, big portion though! Very sharable. If you're not into the roast menu they also have a Spanish menu paella etc. And sangria which on a hot day is lovely! The garden is gorgeous as well as the inside. Great service! Can't fault it, very lucky to have this pub near us
The steak and the tapas were really good. Great selection of cocktail's, beers and wine. Outdoor area is great for these current warm days and plenty of heaters visible for the days that aren't. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great work, definitely one of the best pubs in Chiswick! Will visit again soon.
Revisited this pub and it was the same surprise as the last time: you can argue about the "purity" of the Spanish food served, but the taste is generally very nice. The cod fritters were incredible, as were the leeks. I honestly recommend to go for tapas. On the cons: it is very very noisy.
We had a large group booking on a very busy night for the Duke. Everything went smoothly. Nikola was really helpful in making sure we got the best possible combination of food and drink for our budget. The food was terrific and we had a great night. Thanks!
