Aww had a fab time here on Monday when my little boy and I popped in for lunch to celebrate the end of our Peak District weekend. A lovely warm and friendly welcome with a smile when we opened the door.nnThe locally-supplied steak and Stilton pie was epic. Lovely pastry and served with good mix of fresh veg and triple cooked chunky chips.nnDelicious apple crumble and sticky toffee desserts too!nnWe even had time to play a couple of board games. A lovely spot and we are sure to be back to do some of the walks in the area Nine Ladies, Rowter rocks etcnnGood memories.nnPs we hope little teeny rescue kitten Thursday is doing well!
Lovely staff and good food.nWe went with a party of 8 and the staff were very accommodating and you should definitely book ahead with a big party.nThe food was good with the recommendation of the lamb kofta flatbread being the tastiest one.nDog friendly pub.
What a fabulous place. Stopped for lunch and what a great choice it was. My friend and I had the open sandwiches and the honey and chilli chips. Delicious! Service was superb and the lovely lady gave us lots of info on nearby walks and ‘must sees’. Will definitely be back
Stopped here for lunch after walking the dog, had one of the best steak sandwiches I've had for a very long time, wife didn't stop talking about her fish finger sandwich, both where very tasty and cooked really well.nWell done made our day
We sat outside after a lovely walk and had a small beer and a sandwich. Everything was great. Definitely a nice quiet place to relax in a great location.nPlenty of seats and a huge carpark .
