My father has been in The Dower house now for five months the compassion ,support and love the staff give their residents is wonderful .nThe grounds are beautiful the rooms are well decorated and the food is first class you pay for what you get and you certainly get excellent high standards here. Thank you for looking after somebody precious in my life, so Well.
Love the scenery good vibes and friendly staff coming here again make sure you take lots of photos as there is nice scenery and good views of nice scenery I love this place as theres nice views and lots of scenery make sure to come again im going again because there is superb scenery
This review is not for full residential care, which is different. Not what was expected having always considered the home to be really good. As a respite resident, the level of attentive care was not acceptable. Food for this patient was not suitable and not much effort went into making sure that enough calories were consumed daily. A very serious medical issue arose during the stay that showed signs of it occurring a week previously but was just ignored and given topical medication. This lack of insight and care led the patient to be admitted into hospital and was in out for a further 6 weeks. Had the attention to care been better, hopefully the patient could have been in much better health than they are now. As a respite home, after serious illness, I would not recommend but if it’s after minor surgery etc with no health issues then maybe it’s worth considering.
there cannot be a nursing home better than this. From the nursing care to the fabulous fine dining, it cannot be beaten.
Care with dignity in beautiful surroundings. Meaningful activity and great staff.
