Definitely a local 'hotspot' rather than tourist destination in such a picturesque town. Lunchtime fare was limited bland defrosted scampi and nachos with cheap cheese and mayo. Chips, peas on scampi and jalapenos only highlights of the meal. Service was apathetic and slow despite minimal patronage consisting of a smattering of older folk drinking
Despite service being very good, unfortunately the chicken was raw. I brought this to the attention of the staff but was advised that in their opinion it was fine. No one returned to our table to follow up on the complaint. So disappointed.
Great place to have a meal with good prices. Traditional English pub with Italian twist. This place serves amazing meals. We have stayed near by in hotel and adventured into local village for something nice to eat. This place definitely hit a spot. Great atmosphere and also allow dogs in garden on back as well as pub. Dogs aren't allowed into restaurant but they will serve you in pub or beer garden. We will definitely return for another lovely evening spend here.
Went for a meal last evening with our friends and our toddler. I can't fault themnThe food was tasty and full of flavors. Big portion too. Our waiter was polite,friendly and super efficient. We will happily go back anytime!
What a hidden little gem. A must if you are visiting the area. The food was absolutely amazing. We came to eat at the Italian restaurant last night and I'm so glad we did. The quality of the pizzas blow us away. The price is very reasonable and we will definitely be coming back again.
