Dear God don't eat at this establishment! We ordered a couple of curries for an early dinner which turned up in a record breaking time - had barely sat down from paying and they were on the table! Attempted to eat them and found them both stone cold which to be honest wasn't a surprise as they could have really only gravitated from the fridge to the table not via the microwave. Staff were good and took the food away promptly and it was returned after having received a serious blast, the bowls looking like a bomb had gone off. The rive had practically returned back to precooked state. Eat at the Italian it's far better.
Been here twice in the last month and staff always ask about allergies. Well done! #allergy #intolerance #dairy-free #gluten-free #coeliac
Sunday night dinner before flight. Ordered fish and chips and asked for peas instead of mushy peas why even have this in Scotland!. Told this wouldn't be a problem. Food arrived after around 15 mins which is acceptable. Fish didn't taste very fresh and it still came with mushy peas Chips were good. Staff were friendly and the place was clean
Blonde girl has to go. If management are reading please sack her. Waited in a short queue nearly 30 minutes for an early morning Sunday flight. Had to cancel order as flight was beginning to board. Ended up getting Orange Juice no ice given with an attitude and slow service. Tried to pay with cash she said they would prefer card as low on cash at 6:30am. Utterly useless, won't come back here in future.
Had the early morning BA flight so stopped for a coffee and croissant, was disappointed that tried to paid the 6 pound bill with 10 pound note so I could get rid of the last of my Scottish money to be told they had no change, staff where polite and professional, the establishment was clean and up market. And the coffee was good
Great breakfast! The full breakfast known as the hefty one is really really good the plate is packed and the potatos are a really good untrditioal addition. It has other good selection of this is too much food for you which is understandable due to size. Also a good veggie breakfast alternative on the menu along with cold breakfasts too definitely recommend if morning flight
Katy served me today and yesterday and was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, happy and we had a great chat and a laugh. Food was excellent also. Thanks Katy!
Breakfast was great. Quick service , very nice wait staff and the food was very good. Got the eggs and haggis- must try if you like spicy. Overall great stopover for a good solid breakfast. Toast was nice an crispy and all food was hot and fresh.
This was an oasis away from the hell that was the departure area. Staff were friendly and polite. Prices seemed average to me so no complaints there. Food wasn't award winning but was quite satisfactory and probably as good as or better than the other establishments in the area. I think the fresh mint leaves in the side salad was an interesting and different touch to what would otherwise be a very ordinary mixed greens. Drinks menu seemed pretty good and some popular Scottish choices on there. I thought the whisky flights were a nice touch and definitely a good conversation piece. I will be here again, if only for the peace it provides from the main chaos.
Charged £13.50 for a gin and tonic, even had doubts that the tonic was from a fresh bottle. Kicking myself for not complaining at the time. Save your drink for the Easyjet flight, nearly half the price.
