Reviewing the restaurant. Amazing food , incredible from start to finish. Very carefully thought out, every element of each dish packed with flavour and creativity. Perfect location. My ONLY major issue is that I don't like leaving a place feeling hungry, and this was one of those places. The food was so delicious, but it was quite frustrating not feeling full at the end having paid so much.
I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at a charming seaside restaurant, offering a magnificent view of the harbor. From the moment I entered, the decor captivated me, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The friendly and professional service added a delightful touch to the experience.nnAs for the cuisine, every dish was a true delight. The mushroom soup was rich in flavors, the beef cheek was tender and flavorful, and the dessert provided a sweet and perfect conclusion. The elegant presentation of the dishes reflected meticulous attention to detail.nnOverall, this lunch exceeded my expectations. The combination of delicious cuisine, a pleasant ambiance, and impeccable service makes it a place I highly recommend for a memorable culinary experience.
We had a wonderful time at The Dipping Lugger. Lovely, cosy place with stunning views across the water to the mountains beyond. And the food - incredible! Thank you for your hospitality Robert, Anna & chef. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.
Visited the area for our honeymoon this year, and easily found yet another gem of Scotland. The restaurant was fantastic, had super friendly staff who talked through each meal along with the wine pairing for the course.nnHad some of the biggest and freshest scallops.nnCouldn't recommend the place any more to anyone, and would advise people to detour to the area just to visit.
Wonderful taster menu and wine pairing experience at this small restaurant in Ullapool. We were not staying at the hotel so can't comment on the rooms.nFood showcased local seasonal produce, such as scallops and venison. On the night we visited it felt a little like they were understaffed, service was still very friendly, but for the price point would have expected just a little bit more. That said have still given 5-stars as the restaurant and owners have brought a wonderful little eatery to this more remote part of the highlands.
