There's a lot of information to read and some interesting fossils, but I thought it was a lot of money £44 for a family of four for what lasted an hour. Two rooms downstairs and one room upstairs. You would probably get better value by getting the ticket that covers 5 of the museums in the area - not that it was offered when we purchased our tickets. You don't need to buy your tickets online but be careful, if it is busy, there's not much room to move around.
Very impressive little museum located in central Dorchester.nThere was plenty of paid parking near by with just a short walk to the museum.nThe museum itself was full of fascinating objects and lots of information to learn.nMy kids love dinosaurs so were thrilled to visit and each got a certificate at the end for filling in the quiz as you go around.nIt was a little pricey considering how small it was but was worth visiting once.nTakes around 1 hour to get around the whole place if you take your time.
Smaller than expected, lots of fibreglass models but enough real bones, fossils and facts to keep it interesting. Took about an hour to do in total including the quiz they have us on entry. Overall. Recommend
It was a lovely little museum for a windy and rainy day. It is a little pricy but we did spend just over an hour inside. We had a few interesting findings, and my 8 years old enjoyed it.
Fairly small for what it is but a lot of information everywhere to read. Mainly for children who would enjoy it. It’s definitely not worth £12 per adult in my opinion but suppose they have to make there money somehow
