This place has no consistency in quality of food. Sometimes really nice, others absolutely terrible. Tonight’s was terrible. Ordered a madras that tasted like it was the base curry and they’d forget to add in the spices that make it a madras, and the garlic naan was so soggy dripping in garlic oil it was breaking apart in a mushy mess. Most of the order went in the bin. This place years ago was the best in Leyland but over the last 18 months it’s been bad far more than good.
Avoid this place at all costs. Food was awful. Hairs in the curry. Rice had mould on it. Rang up and was just given abuse, reporting to trading standards and food hygieneFood: 1/5

We order from them almost weekly. We ordered at 7:15 pm, the website said time of deliver 8:15. At 8:45 I rang them and they said and it was on its way. They are only 10 minutes from us. It’s now 9:15 and it’s still not here! Two hours after we ordered it. Rang them again and they said it would be here any minute. They were completely unapologetic. I couldn’t believe how rude they were. We asked them for a partial refund and he point blank refused and said two hours is fine. Two hours wait is ridiculous. Last time we ever order from them! They lost brilliant customers tonight.
Recently passing through the area and decided to give this takeaway a try. Ordered directly through their page with a 20 minutes wait time. Immediately received an email confirming the order. Chose the vegetarian banquet for 2, which consisted of onion, chutney , yoghurt starters, 2 x poppadoms, Naan bread, onion bhaji's and vegetable samosa's. Main courses are Vegetable Korma, Mushroom Bhuna , Aloo Gobi potatoes. All come with 1 x large portion of boiled rice. As promised & 20 minutes later, the order was ready. The takeaway is clean with friendly staff. So much food it lasted us for 2 evening meals...not bad for a total of £20! Each curry was perfectly cooked, could not fault them. Very tasty and fresh. The 2nd night we added our own rice and poppadoms to make a more than adequate meal. Will certainly use this place again and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to give the Dil Raj a try. They certainly provide great customer satisfaction and very tasty food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THANK YOU TO THE DIL RAJ STAFF & CHEFS! Vegetarian options: There is a selection, highlighted on the menu. Parking: Small area directly outside, or a pub next door with large car park and easily accessed from the main road.
Oh my days, that was incredible. Just ordered from here & it was amazingly good. The quality of the food was just outstanding, every mouth full was extremely enjoyable & the flavours have blown my mind. I will be ordering from here again for sure. Wow Thank you chefs at Dilraj Leyland Food: 5/5
Ordered from Dilraj pleanty of times now and never had a bad meal. Sensible prices and the food is always good and hot. Vegetarian options: They offer a vegetarian set meal for 2 for £20 we get 2 meals each out of it by just adding some rice the next day
Always get a vindaloo from Dilrah and normally a nice curry from here but tonight I ordered a chicken vindaloo and it tasted like the heat for the curry came out of a bottle of Mad Dog 365 pepper sauce. The strength of pepper taste was overwhelmingly powerful. No taste apart from intense spice heat & pepper. Went in the bin.Food: 1/5
Been to this place for years and last two weeks the food was very poor disgusting. Rang to make my notions known and was welcomed with the phone being put down on me. Avoid!
Ordered for delivery, after around 45 minutes i rang to see how long my order was going to be. to be told it had been made and was waiting for the delivery driver. 5 minutes later i got a phone call to say they can’t deliver my food because it’s too busy? but my food had already been made? Then got told i have to wait another hour or get my money back which will take 10 working days? Waited an hour for food that had been already made an hour prior. The food comes and they’ve missed a meal from the order.
