Although a small museum there was plenty to see and great for school children to learn of the development of shipbuilding. Well worth a visit as kids with adults are free.

Fascinating maritime history. I had no idea that Dumbarton played such a pivotal role in the history of shipbuilding within the UK. Had some good things to make children interested in the subject matter. Very well priced but not easily accessible for wheelchair user's.

Lovely little museum with fascinating installments, interactive displays and a teddy spotting game for young children to receive their "pirates license" fun family day out
