Story

The Den is a new purpose build facility which encourages endless active play for boys and girls to have fun, make friends and eat healthy! The Den restaurant has a large menu and facilities to cater for large birthday parties and seasonal events!

The Glen (Formerly Storybook Glen) is world of make-believe and fun for children (and adults) of all ages, set amidst 28 acres of scenic beauty in Maryculter, Aberdeen. Come along and see your favourite nursery rhyme and fairytale characters.

I spend time one every 2 to 3 weeks with my 5 year old. The outdoor park is great in the summer. The Indoor play area is great and it always has other kids for my son to play with. Food reasonable.  Well worth the visit.

I was there for a birthday party and would definitely recommend having parties there for little ones. There are 2 areas, the outdoor which I was told are featured according to fairy tales but I have not checked that out yet. When I checked that out next time, I will add my honest review here again. 
The indoor area has a large soft play. There is also a cafe inside with a selection of hot food, snacks and drinks too. You would normally associate soft play for the little ones under 7 years old but there were children ages 8-10 who seemed really happy playing there too including one of my child. There were different areas suitable for the very little ones (babies) and toddler areas so they are safe from the energetic young children.

This is my first visit with my grandchildren to the Den. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We felt it was well set out with different play areas for the different age groups.
Looking forward to returning.

I've visited a few times with the kids. They absolutely love it. The glen is great fun for them, although it may be looking a bit tired in places. Large area for them to run around and play. Lots of characters and from famous stories etc. The den is great also, lots for all ages. The cafe has a good choice, and reasonably priced. The entry cost for both is very good value for money in my opinion, as some places would charge this amount for one of these. 

Overall, I would recommend as a good half day out with the kids!

Great play area for kids! Secure and safe outdoor area for picnics. However the staff can sometimes be curt and unpleasant which can put off the good side.
