First time visit and I must say the last. Found the stylist cold and uninterested, only spoke when spoken to, asked her for hair advice but unhelpful. Yet to introduce herself and has yet to ask my name. Fringe cut too short and squint had to point out. So disappointed and left tearful. I have read your reply and clearly you have twisted what I had said to the  stylst so let me clarify. No name was given when I called for an appointment. I had only just moved to Dunbar .As I had yet to find a hair stylst I did inform the stylst that I had trimmed my own fringe and coloured my own hair. I asked if she could thin out my fringe as it was thick and heavy and trim it just below my eyebrows,which but it was squint when I pointed this out she just took the scissors and cut it straight across from the shortest length. She also left me sitting whist she had a 10 minute chat with another lady who came in to ask about dog kennels for a friend ,which I found very rude. I only complain when I find a service unprofessional with poor or lack of customer service skills. I will leave the readers of this review to draw their own conclusions.I would expect you to defend your stylst after all I'm sure you want to protect your reputation. Thank you

My daughter came in for a haircut the other week and absolutely loved her hair by Megan. She wanted to give her 10 stars if she could have but has to make do with 5* rating. She loves her new hair and couldn’t wait to show everyone at school her new change.  Thank you Megan@ The Cutting Room

My daughter had a terrible experience today. Head was scalded when hair was washed. No real consultation about what styling was to be. Cut is squint, Left sitting with hair half cut and her hair wasn't even straightened. Instead of feeling special. Felt rubbish. She won't be returning.

Asked for Kate Bush hair and Lynne gave men Kate Bush hair. Honestly this was a perfect experience, beautiful and lovely staff. And didn't judge me for cutting my own hair during lockdown. What more could you ask?

Used this saloon regularly now even at it previous two locations. Always left feeling lot better and always welcoming and friendly. And reasonable price wise too. And though in present situ. We have to pre-book it's still good and prebooking means they know at all times the number including staff on the shop floor and keeping within Covid/ SARS regulations

Wonderful experience. Popped in for a haircut impromptu as I was exploring the town. Really love my haircut! I would recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
