My partner and I visited for Sunday lunch. Warmly welcomed, presented with nice menu. We chose beef and requested pink/on the rare side, it was, accompaniments excellent beautifully cooked. Dessert was excellent too. We will return. Thank you
I popped in for Sunday lunch as I'm staying near by and wasn't disappointed. Lovely roast beef followed by a delicious dessert. Will pop in again one day to sample the lunch menu. Definitely worth a visit.
We booked for a Wednesday evening in July. 4 adults. Two teens. Fish and chips: the fish ate like it had been cooked, left and warmed up again. Rock hard, unappetising batter. Fish cakes: hard, round disks. Steak and kidney pie: more like a mince and onion pie. We've honestly bought and enjoyed better food from Iceland. Didn't hang around for more drinks, or deserts.
Our daughter has severe dairy allergy so visited the pub before booking. They truly could not be more helpful. We had a lovely evening. Really good food, great service by such nice staff. Haven't been here for a number of years. If you enjoy good pub food, well presented, very tasty in a lovely atmosphere then if you are in the area, give it a try. Don't think you'll be disappointed! We'll be back!
Just on way home from the crown Inn had a fantastic stay food excellent accommodation was perfect and hosts warm and welcoming brilliant walks and great seaside towns nearby
We enjoyed a lovely meal this evening at The Crown. Good sized portions - well cooked. Very friendly and polite staff. Lovely garden area and dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Good service, excellent atmosphere, fabulous value for money.... And simply Brilliant Chips. If you are in the area, it would be a mistake to not stop and eat here.
Had an excellent Sunday lunch, service and staff excellent. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming pub in general. Dogs also welcome.
Brilliant local family pub also a proper pub with a good atmosphere and simple but very well presented and thought out menu food is probably the best pub food around service is very good and drinks well priced
Lovely food really well cooked. Delightful staff. Look forward to my next visit. Food & drinks: Really good menu, well priced, beautifully cooked and promptly served but not hurried in any way. Traditional pub, plenty of local people using it, warm and friendly. Loved it, cant wait to return.
