Had a lovely lunch at this pub. Great food and service. Good selection of Beer. Will definitely come back. Had one of my best stake and ale pie as I have had and a delicious crumble with custard for dessert in picture
A marvellous experience for lunch today. My wife and I were genuinely welcomed and then enjoyed exceptionally tasty home cooked food at a fair price. A gem of a place and pretty popular by the look of it today.
Friendly famiy run buisiness and with a warm welcome that you very rarely receive now days. Host is overly polite and drinks and food menus are sufficient for many a person. Not a prosseco and fillet steak establishment just good old fashioned pub grub. Menu with great bar snacks, starters and main meals. Recommend to any walkers, company reps or builders alike
Nice country pub. Good selection of beers. Good food available but limited selection and serving times.
Lovely soup and baguette; good beer too
A brief visit to this friendly pub in a pleasant setting. Decent parking, nice coffee and a good selection of beers. Live music/beer festivals at certain times during the summer. Went there in pre-covid sunshine and the afternoon was fantastic.
Great pub to enjoy a pint after a long dog walk or round of golf, or to just chill outside in the sunshine, lunchtime food is good plus a great range of beer and ales.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Truly a local pub and not just for the locals.
Finished up here after a long walk with the kids. Outdoor table service due to Covid19 restrictions. So nice to visit this pub again. Great place that has hosted beer festivals and other events over the years. Support local, these guys need all the business they can get over the coming weeks and months
Great socially distanced service, lovely beer, clean toilets, what more do you need in these pandemic times?
