Met up with a friend for a much needed catch up and The Crown was the perfect place for that! Great food and drink at a reasonable price and loads of space to keep your distance from people while still feeling safe and comfortable. Food was delicious. Would I recommend..... Yes!!
The place was a bit busy. Food was nice. Only thing I would suggest was, the person taking the order to try and not make a mistake. As I item we wanted we didn't get. Also the server brought 1 main meal out to us while we were still eating our starter. Which we felt awkward as when the server asked should they take back the meal, we said yes as we haven't finished this.
We were served by Jade who was friendly, polite and professional. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back.
We went in about late afternoon/early evening without a booking, Manager Matthew, although very busy was very accommodating and said he would get us a table in an hour despite a notice on the door to say that as it's Mother's Day, they were sorry they could not accommodate walk in customers. We went back in an hour and were given a table and the most courteous of service from the manager as well as Courtney, a very charming and efficient and friendly server. She was attentive and treated us very well. What a lovely first experience at this Mitchel's & Butlers chain. Thank you Matthew and Courtney for your attentive and friendly service. Will definitely recommend and the food was good and piping hot as well. This is with the fact that it was quite busy with many tables waiting to be served. Well done and thank you again. Nice friendly pub in Northolt that has been recently refurbished. Food is good and large portions for a very reasonable price. Service was friendly.Food: 4/5
I used to love this pub but my last visit was terrible. We ordered using the app but had to go to the bar after 15 minutes because our drinks hadn't been served despite there being two members of staff and no at the bar. We ordered three meals: The steak was ok The chicken curry was bland The kids burger was vile, it had clearly all been microwaved for too long resulting in a bum so tough it needed a steak knife to cut and a burger that could have been made of rubber.
Nice pub rather traditional in many ways. Makes a change going to a pub and experiencing a traditional feel. Sad that they don't do a Sunday carvery, as so many pubs do. I had to leave the pub and drive to the nearby Myllet Arms, that do an excellent carvery.Food: 3/5
What a joke. I booked breakfast for 12 people for 11am, I received confirmation emails and email reminders for 11am for 12 on the said date. we all turned up to a closed pub that does not open until 12 midday, and were told they dont even do breakfasts, what a birthday disappointment. It could not be worse. Words fail me.
Mostly fried food on the menu. Mexican dish no extra flavours blend. Place the order at the till, half of it was wrong. Nice place for a drink after work. Will be back and eat somewhere elseFood: 3/5
No steak, no burger buns, no gammon. Social distancing observed by staff. The food was awful. Since the beginning of Aug the suppliers have not delivered most of the food as it wasn't making any profit. Those were the managers words. When asked how was the meal, I asked was it all frozen? Yes, was the answer. The corn on the cob, the 3 chicken nuggets, 3 mini drumsticks, the ribs and the chips.. all frozen. I got it wrapped up and gave it to my dog. The heat was unbearable. Got out of there quickly. I will not be going back there again. Must say the staff was sympathetic. They were only thing giving such a generous rating. Very welcoming and helpful. Our first outing in a restaurant since March and it was such a let down. The drink was good.. once they changed the Carling.
