Just moved to Linton and popped in for some dinner with a friend. I was so pleased to find, not only gluten free beer, but also gluten free fish and chips and gluten free pudding!! Wonderful friendly service from Amy and a thoroughly enjoyable meal I even squeezed in a chocolate brownie!, and much less than I expected to pay for a gluten free dinner for two. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and will definitely be returning for some of the gluten free sticky toffee pudding somewhere I would happily visit alone, knowing a warm welcome awaits.
Nice pub, good beer, very friendly staff. However, had a soup and a pizza that were very disappointing. We cannot work out how you could get a pizza more wrong. Dough was thin and crispy but undercooked?! But nice pub for a drink.
Attractive building. Excellent service. Food average pub type and helpings far too large on main courses.

Booked a family gathering of 18 for a birthday celebration. Staff very helpful and happy to accomodate all our requests. On the day, everything laid out in preparation, friendly staff took pre meal drinks orders and we got the impression that they aimed to please. Courses delivered efficiently and food good. The family all enjoyed the occasion so well done and thanks to the staff at the Crown Inn Linton.
Had a nice meal with local beers. Lovely old pub with modern extention. Good size restaurant best to book or site in cozey bar. Staff friendly good service. There is parking and rooms. So eat, drink, sleep and no need to drive home.
Lunch with a friend. The place was empty so we had service fairly quickly, though the staff divide their time between the bar in the pub section so sometimes take a while to appear. Food was alright, safe, not terribly exciting, but it didn't break the bank.
Had a really nice meal here in the centre of Linton. Food was great and staff were lovley. Restaurant area was very nice would recommend
Friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. Fantastic burger, battered haddock was spot on and tuna baguette really good. And VERY reasonably priced. Big recommendation
