The Crispy Cod

Delicious chips, friendly staff and varied menu. Really fresh made on the spot when ordered and good prices! Had the sat and pepper squid and chips. The squid was slightly over cooked but the chips were perfectly salted & vinegared. Would definitely go back and try more of their menu!!

Fantastic chippy.....I have been lucky enough to eat in both Crispy cod establishments and the food in the take out is on par with the sit down restaurant. This takes some doing as the food there is fantastic.... Lovely fish, great chips and a winner in the Irish curry. Highly recommend to anyone who wants great food.

Fabulous specialist fish, along with the expected from a Fish and chips shop. A bit of a wait while they prepare your order, but worth the wait.

What chips you get are disgusting. The prices are ridiculous. I could have eaten in a restaurant for the same price as pie and chips. Shop Is spotless and staff are friendly and polite

Best fish & chop ship I've been to so far.

Usually 5 star but not as good today. Chips were mostly scrumps but this is usually our favourite chip shop.

Lovely and clean. Had cod and chips tartar sauce. Bit pricey for a take away by really nice. Just found out this shop is closing. There two others one in Gelli and I think the other is in Ferndale.They are staying open. The Tonyrefail one is not making money. What a shame.
