Called in for a quick pint whist up from Manchester ended up staying all afternoon. The elderly gentleman David behind the bar was an absolute star. The blonde lady whose name I didn’t get was a great host being friendly and welcoming. One of the locals was very friendly and I enjoyed a couple of good chats whist ordering from the bar . The restaurant side looked great but we didn’t have Tim to eat. There’s a small seating area outside some of it partially covered. If you want a pint at a friendly pub you won’t go wrong her
We had a really excellent meal last night at the Cree Inn, to celebrate my son's 15th birthday. The staff were attentive and really friendly, the dining area was cosy if a little cool and comfortable, and the food was excellent. This is not 'pub grub', it was excellent quality, beautifully cooked and delicious.nThere were 6 of us eating, we all had starters and mains, and 3 had desserts. With drinks included the bill was around £170, which these days offers really fair value, and for the quality it was excellent. Compliments to the chef, and all of the staff.
We had a fantastic Sunday roast at the Cree Inn! Friendly staff and quick service the food was really delicious and very well priced too! Thank you so much.
Great place, with friendly staff that serves up excellent food. Special mention to the bar manager, Kenny, always up for a good bit of banter.
The waiters here are very nice and the food is delicious, we are definitely coming back. There was no one there when we went which was sad as it is one of the nicest restaurants we have been to. More people should come here. It is the nicest place to have an evening meal in Newton Stewart. Has a better than average selection of vegetarian options, a great place to take the family!
