I joined this practice recently after being frustrated at having to wait 5 weeks for an appointment at my previous surgery even though I told the receptionist that it was important that I was seen quickly . Cranborne/Lake Road have been amazing. I saw a Doctor, face to face, within 2 days of becoming a patient and was fast tracked for urgent tests through the NHS system by one of the most caring and helpful doctors I have ever seen during my 70+ years.
We moved down here from Bedford, and signed up with this surgery. The service we get here is like night and day compared to Bedford. Absolutely fantastic surgery, the GPs and HCAs we have both seen or spoken with have been brilliant. Reception are always friendly and helpful. I've been told about things that were found on historical blood tests, that my previous surgery hadn't even mentioned!! The diabetes team are brilliant, really can't fault this surgery at all.
I came from west moors group practice, originally when it was based in three Legged cross & honestly hated it staff were rude and made me feel awful about even calling in for an appointment, always so rude on the phone. However when moved to cranborne / lake road surgery the staff are so lovely, make you feel at ease when going in & very quick and efficient.
One of the few great Doctor's offices left in the UK. Lovely receptionists, never to difficult to get an appointment and overall just a good experience. They could teach Fordingbridge surgery a few lessons.
It's very hard to get appointment I gone on my phone for the last 2 weeks, and after 8 am, all there are available is blood test appointments.
