We have been here a few times and being on holiday in the area decided to come back. I can’t fault the food but service wasn’t great. We had ordered 2 pizzas and garlic bread with dips spent around £30 to take away. We sat in the ship inn beer garden which they were happy for us to do so as they were closed for food today. I then decided it would be good to go back in to the crafty crow to grab some cheese cake to take back to our cottage but was met with a girl racing over to tell me the kitchen is closed ‍ - so we didn’t get anything, it’s funny I can place orders for food right now on their website and there advertised as open to 8pm, plus all I was looking for was some cake to take away I’ve attached a picture of the food as it was nice
Incredible little gem, not only kid and dog friendly but both at the same time when we were in! Absolutely the best gluten free pizza I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly. Delicious food, really nice people. We'll be back. Vegetarian options: It's all vegan or vegetarian, and all excellent. Kid-friendliness: Kids seemed welcomed and encouraged, and dogs made welcome too Dietary restrictions: As I mention above, the best gluten free pizza I've had, anywhere!
Really friendly veggie/vegan pizza spot! Came here two nights in a row whilst working in the town. To my memory, the first fully vegetarian ‘meat feast’ pizza I’ve ever had - it was really tasty! Adding extras is no problem and price is fair. Glad to see this spot so busy!
This cafe is a secret gem. It's dog friendly. Lovely helpful staff. We had delicious freshly homemade pizza, pear and goats cheese salad and cakes after running our dogs on the park opposite. Chose from a variety of toppings for our pizza. They gave our thirsty dogs water without even asking.
The staff were excellent, and I enjoyed my food. My only negative is that the fact its a vegetarian/vegan restaurant is not obvious and the menu is unclear regarding this. Being honest if I'd known it was veggie I'd probably have gone elsewhere, but being honest I didn't mind. I'd rather have known before ordering though.
This is a lovely place with super nice people running it and fantastic pizzas. There is also a small gift shop where you can find some nice little things to take away
We were so excited to find a veggie pizza place in an area where there isn’t much choice. The menu looked amazing. Sadly, the disappointment started when we lifted the pizza boxes and they felt empty. Although the base was nice and thin, the toppings were virtually non-existent. One sundried tomato cut into four, one artichoke heart quartered again, a smear of tomato sauce and hardly any cheese, so the whole thing was dry. The pizzas were expensive and I was also overcharged. The people seemed nice and I hate to leave a bad review, but they’re doing themselves a disservice with such meagre offerings. I hope they take this as constructive criticism as I’d like them to do well.
Great staff and manager. New up to date system now helping them deliver more precisely.
We used happycow app to find this gem. 5 is dairy free, wife is gluten and dairy free and veggie. This place we all able to eat and eat well. They were great with 5 too. Typical 5 had lots of questions and they were answered with no hint of annoyance. All hand made and all fresh and so so yummy!!
Excellent meal here and because it's vegetarian/vegan, we don't have to trawl the menu to see if anything contains chorizo or something....... Pizza was delicious - well, it all was, actually. Very pleasant people, too. Why haven't we been here before??? And BYOB!!
