Great little spot next to some decent parking. Food and staff were excellent. Quite busy here and the team keep moving around and working very hard! Thankyou for a lovely lunch.
Polzeath is beautiful and this spot is just great before the beach or a Cliff-top walk. Delicious food and drinks menu available. Will be back!
Lovely place in a stunning setting and all the staff seemed good and friendly. Great sounding fish platter on the menu although no dressed crab available when we visited at 12.30 which was a disappointment as a good crab sandwichwould have been welcome. The fruits de mer platter is very good but it offers chilled seafood apart from the scallops. I confess l was hoping for a little more variety than that. Lots of average prawns, cold mussels and clams bulk out the meal. If you like them it's great, if not you start questioning the price. The decision to order by app works well but it also means you have little interaction with the staff so it becomes quite impersonal, which is a shame. Did we enjoy it? Yes! Would we rush back? Sadly not
Second time I’ve visited here now, a few years apart and it’s still as amazing as I remembered! The food was delicious so the I felt it was worth the expense. I ordered the scallops to start and the surf and turf main but asked for it all to come out together. Best lobster I’ve eaten in a long time! Can not wait to go back and eat here again, the whole menu sounds delicious.
We ordered the Fruit De Mer, a great portion size for two. Definitely recommend this place
We had been trying to book a diner slot before holidaying in Polzeath two weeks ago, but the restaurant was fully booked every evening, so when we arrived we went to the restaurant and asked if they did a take away service during dinner . We were amazed that the chef came out and asked where we were staying, what we wanted and took our order for an hour later for us to collect . My husband returned to collect our meals and it was plated as if we were in the restaurant itself on china plates . The staff even carried our meal to the our caravan a short distance away ! Superb service . We ordered lobster and Steak and we can honestly say the quality, quantity and presentation of our food was superb ! We cannot thank you enough for the excellent service you provided and beautiful food . We highly recommend you and will definitely be back when we are next down !
Excellent location for a cafe, with beautiful views of Polzeath. Has its open car park but can also be reached from the beach with a short wander along the coastal path. Food was very nice and staff were friendly. It started raining while we were there and it was no problem getting everyone inside and shifting order location. Dog friendly also, which was nice.
While visiting the beach yesterday myself and my wife called for lunch. Never been before, it was not overly busy considering it was the holidays and there was very heavy footfall in the area. Ordering your food was unusual, it was by an app and your mobile, I'm sure there must have been other options but non were offered at the time. The food didn't take too long to arrive and it gave us time to admire the views. £2.15 for a can of pop is a bit steep but the wasps appeared to have no complaints. I would visit again but maybe outside of holiday season.
Lovely evening with great company in a really chilled atmosphere. Can get crazy busy during peak season but out of that, a really nice place to eat. Thanks for having us.Food: 4/5
Lovely restaurant right by the sea, with fantastic food and views. The staff were brilliant and very helpful and polite and even brought my dog over a sausage for a treat before we left. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.
