Visited the Cowshed whilst in Scarborough to see a gig. For a Thursday night they were busy, and the manager informed us that one of the servers had called in sick. The only server was the manager, who was chatting to everyone in the place, keeping cool, calm and collected. 10/10. The food then came out - without any delay - and my GOD, it was good. Juicy beef, every element of the burger seasoned, and the Mayonnaise... Oh the mayonnaise. Their own secret recipe, that if I was able to buy, I'd be needing litres of it. Great restaurant, made best by the staff and the food they serve - exactly what makes a great restaurant.
Absolutely superb place. Food is as per the menu. The price is very reasonable. Great choice of burgers sides toppings. The staff are really pleasant. I would suggest booking can be a busy place.

Great burgers! Always scared a burger place will be dry but these were so juicy and cooked to perfection! Also the cookie was so good! Staff were also really friendly and the whole vibe was very nice!
It’s not just the food here, which by the way is amazing, it’s the staff. So friendly, helpful, accommodating, they make the place even better. Our burgers were delicious. Truffle burger was insane. Just wish we lived closer we’d be here every week!!
Eat here every time I come to Scarborough and it never disappoints. The food is cracking, with a great beer selection and it's all good value for money too. The staff are ace, always look after you and are dead friendly. What more could you ask for?Food: 5/5
Without a doubt the best burgers anywhere. Perfect 'Big Mac' & '5 Spice' special paired with an amazing house red and a beltin IPA from Mikkeller. Don't faff about, get down there and improve your life.
Came across Cowshed burgers last year during our holiday and visited. Was amazed by the quality of the food and the friendly staff.. so much so myself and my husband booked another holiday this year just so we could come back. Cowshed did not disappoint us.. 10/10 again!
It's been nearly a month since we visited Scarborough and it's taken me nearly this long to mourn the lack of Cowshed in my boring, Bradfordian life. We called in, impromptu and it was incredibly busy. There was just the one chap serving, running around like the proverbial blue-ars*d-fly. This did NOT take away from the experience, he was a phenomenal host. Ensuring everything about the visit for not just ourselves, but everyone else in the establishment was fantastic. Well mannered, positive, an all round great guy! GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE! The burgers. Oh, lawd. The burgers. I have NEVER had anything as juicy, tasty and mind-blowingly amazing in and around my mouth, ever. The pizza fries are also a must. I need to go back to Scarbados, just for these burgers.
Amazing food and fantastic service. I don’t understand why most places can’t get this right…however, 5* from me today. Also note, I was with 3 kids 6,4&1. They were extremely accommodating.
