We are very glad to have the Courtyard theatre in Hereford. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The place is always clean and well maintained.nWe've just been to see the pantomime for the fourth year in a row and I've already booked for next year! It's becoming a Christmas eve eve tradition for us, and something to look forward to.
The Courtyard is amazing. We take our disabled parents to the pantomime every year and they always manage to seat us together with plenty of space and easy access to seats. Hearing loops are also available. Their attitude to accessible and inclusive facilities is refreshing and the pantomime is always great fun.nFamily films on Saturday are also great for kids, cheaper than the Odeon and without the attempts to push extortionate sweets.nFood and drink options in the café bar are good quality and reasonably priced.nHereford is lucky to have this place.
Took me 25 minutes to pay for parking. Only 1 machine was working at the time. It was incredibly slow and it didn't give the person in front of me a ticket but took her money. I didn't get to spend the time with my family before the show because paying for parking took so long. Yet I still received a £60 fine. I'm now wasting more of my time appealing something I wasted a lot of time on in the first place. Never seen anything worth this faff here.nnUpdate: I finally got a response after sending proof of payment. They're forcing me to pay still despite the proof of payment. I get to shut up and pay £20 or they're threatening to make me pay £100. Unfortunately I've wasted enough time with all of this so I'll be paying and avoiding this scam in future. Unless the courtyard would like to pay for me?
AMP LIVE MUSICnI cant believe the courtyard with sound proofing inside now want to hold a live amp music with alcohol license till 11PM right through August in the car park!! How selfish of them when they are surrounded by residential homes! It will mean after a 12 hour shift I won't be able to sit in my garden and have some peace, I also won't be able to go to sleep till midnight, so 4 hours sleep if I am lucky! Not a thought has gone into consideration for the neighbours. Its also going to be hot and won't be able to have windows open..Could of relocated to Bishop meadow more room and not on top of residential homes.One other thing this event not even for charity this is pure greed and selfish of the people who came up with this.They have indoors for live music.
Myself and my Mum watched the Swan Lake ballet performance on Monday, we purchased seats in the gallery but when we sat down my mum struggled with the height, the box office were very helpful in swapping our seats with 10 mins to spare before the show started! Very grateful.
