Went to The Courtyard and had an absolutely fabulous meal as did my partner. I had a steak and she had the burger, incredible taste and hand cut chips to die for. Priced well and great and friendly service, a must for anyone wanting a great meal
Really quite poor. One of our party sent mouldy celery & later mouldy bread back to the kitchen. Every one of us had all 3 hot courses handed to us on stone cold plates, so all the food was also cold. Some of it probably wouldn't have tasted too bad, had it been hot or even just warm. I wouldn't choose to go back there.
Sausages cooked and cooked and cooked, gravy still had granules in it. Not good.
Enjoyed everything about the place, will return.
