Home made delicious food everytimeneveryone what a little.gem this place is. Fantastic service lovely people.nI had the homemade.chicken and mushroom pie and my son demolished there courtyard burger. Had the homemade lasagne last year we came ' absolutely top notch. Food how my mum and nana used to make it.nDefinitely needs to be eaten to be experienced. It's tucked out of the way down a side alley and you will miss it if you don't know where it is. Best place in Ashby for breakfast lunch main course meals.nnI very highly recommend it.

We visited The Courtyard Cafe for Valentine’s Day and it was incredibly busy, but the experience was still lovely from start to finish. We had not booked, yet Rebecca kindly took our name and suggested we come back in about 15 minutes, which gave us a nice chance to wander around town.nnWhen we returned our table was almost ready, and the team came out with menus, took our drinks order and were happy to take food orders too. We were seated upstairs shortly after, and I have to say the cafe is decorated beautifully. The atmosphere feels really warm and thoughtfully put together.nnThe service was fantastic. Every member of staff who served us was friendly and welcoming. Even though it was clearly a busy and probably stressful day, they still took the time to make us feel looked after. I was genuinely impressed watching them carry drinks and food up the stairs so smoothly without a single spillage.nnThe food was delicious as well, and I would definitely recommend the brie, bacon and cranberry baguette. Coffee was lush.nnSuch a lovely place and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit.

Emma truly delivered the highest level of customer service and care to my mother, my dog, and me during our breakfast visit. All the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely lovely too. I didn’t get a picture but the Vegan Breakfast was flavoursome! Thank you so much for giving us such a brilliant start to our day!

Great little cafe, friendly staff seems popular with the locals. Stopped in on my way back home from Yorkshire easy access from the motorway and a lot nicer than service stations. Had a steak and Stilton baguette with chips was tasty. Also shared a Tropical cheesecake that was made in house and was a great desert to finish off our lunch.

Rebecca and the team at the Courtyard were able to fit us in for afternoon tea with 48 hours notice. They worked around our dietary requirements with ease. So much food and all super yummy and presented fabulously. Really enjoyed and very much recommend.nnThank you again! Becky & friends x
